This holiday season, Macy’s is introducing the Holiday Arcade – in-store gifting shops offering customers an eclectic assortment of distinctive and playful options for every person on their shopping list. Specialty toy and novelty gifts will include a variety of items from Madame Alexander dolls and a Paddington Bear soft toy to affordably priced stocking stuffers and gifts for man’s best friend. Holiday Arcade shops will launch at six Macy’s locations from late October through mid-November, including Macy’s South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa, CA), Macy’s Union Square (San Francisco, CA), Macy’s Dadeland (Miami, FL), Macy’s State Street (Chicago, IL), Macy’s Herald Square (Manhattan, NY) and Macy’s Center City (Philadelphia).

“Macy’s wide assortment of affordably priced gifts makes our store the shopping destination for millions of customers each holiday season,” said Louis Mastrogiacomo, Macy’s senior vice president Fashion and Product Office. “The addition of the Holiday Arcade in select locations will enhance the shopping experience with dedicated gifting shops that bring our customers a new and unique offering of items that will surprise and delight children of all ages.”

Holiday Arcade gifting items will include:

BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP®: The Holiday Arcade at five locations including Macy’s South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa, CA), Macy’s Union Square (San Francisco), Macy’s State Street (Chicago), Macy’s Herald Square (Manhattan, NY) and Macy’s Center City (Philadelphia) will be home to exclusive Build-A-Bear Workshop® shop-in-shops. At these locations Build-A-Bear Workshop will bring its emotional, interactive retail experience to Macy’s holiday shoppers, who will have the opportunity to customize Build-A-Bear stuffed animals, as well as the hottest licensed products including figures from Disney’s Frozen and Marvel’s superheroes.

SEEDLING STOCKING STUFFERS: Offering novelty stocking stuffers with a design twist, Seedling’s Pocket Money Collection includes everything from snow globe kits, bicycle bells and pick up stix to paper doll sets, fairy dust and a Macy’s exclusive felt stocking. The collection is affordably priced from $1.99 to $34.99.

PADDINGTON AT MACY’S: This holiday season, Paddington Bear is traveling to Macy’s stores with an assortment of kids tees and an exclusive collection from YOTTOY, including a glitter-filled snow globe ornament, silk-screened nylon tote with vinyl zippered pouch, and a special 11-inch plush Paddington Bear soft toy donning his signature red hat and blue coat with Macy’s red star. Items range in price from $14 to $26. A larger than life, limited-edition three-foot Paddington Bear will also be available at select Macy’s locations.

HARRY BARKER®: Pamper your pooch with Harry Barker’s holiday-themed collection of doggy-friendly gifts. Priced primarily from $8 to $12 with select items up to $120, the curated assortment includes biscuit treat tins, chew toys, jingle bell collars and much more.

CURIOUS GEORGE AT MACY’S: Everyone’s favorite monkey is swinging into Macy’s stores with an exclusive Curious George plush by GUND decked out in custom designed star pajamas. Classic tin and wooden toys including a tea set, puzzle and jack-in-the-box featuring the beloved character are also available with many items priced at $24.99 or less.

MADAME ALEXANDER DOLLS: Macy’s shoppers will be able to experience the magic of taking home a Madame Alexander doll this holiday season from newborn nursery adoption centers with nurses on-staff to provide birth certificates and care instructions for customers’ new addition. The carefully-detailed baby dolls will retail for $99.99, while 18-inch boxed fashion play dolls will also be available in eight styles for $64.95 each.

LIONEL TRAINS: All aboard, as an assortment of plastic and traditional metal train sets from Lionel® pull into Macy’s. Sets will be available in Peanuts®, Coca Cola®, Crayola® and 10th anniversary Polar Express® themes, in addition to accessory items such as an exclusive Gund® conductor teddy bear. Train sets range in price from $149.99 to $399.99.

BOO & GRUMPY CAT: The canine and feline social media superstars arrive at Macy’s with officially- licensed soft plush toys by GUND. Available in both every day and holiday-themed varieties, these items are priced from $12 to $25, along with Boo slippers for $50.
