Italian plant produces five million Fiat oil pumps

SAILAUF, Germany, October 9, 2015 - Magna International Inc. announced that its powertrain manufacturing facility in Benevento, Italy, has reached a significant milestone: five million oil pumps produced for the Fiat 1.4-liter engine since starting production in 2005.

'This production milestone is something our entire team is very proud of,' said Giuseppe Vona, General Manager of Magna Powertrain Italia. 'It demonstrates our commitment to manufacturing excellence and our customer's trust in our ability to deliver a quality product.'

With a team of approximately 85 employees, Magna Powertrain Italia manufactures a variety of oil, water and vacuum pumps for automakers including Fiat, General Motors, BMW, Ford, PSA, Jaguar, Aston Martin and Volvo in its 50,000-square-foot facility.
