Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the U.S. $15.4 billion
Mahindra Group, maintained its leadership position in the
tractor industry in August 2012.
Domestic sales in August 2012 stood at 12394 units,
as against 15059 units during August 2011. Total tractor
sales (domestic + exports) in August 2012 stood at 13234
units, as against 16003 units for the same period last
year. Exports for the month of August 2012 stood at 840
units, as against 944 units in August 2011.
