New ICQ for iOS Offers Data Saving Mode for Video Calls

The new ICQ feature, data saving mode, significantly reduces data consumption. The updated version also has its own camera and link preview capability.

Data saving mode allows you to reduce your data consumption by 8 times and to make video calls even via a slow Internet connection. You can activate data saving mode at any time during the call. In this mode, ICQ automatically reduces the video resolution and renders the image in black and white.

ICQ now automatically displays a preview for all links to image or video sent or received via the app. A title image and a banner can be displayed for links to the news resources and articles.
