Mainova AG: Preliminary announcement of the publication of financial reports according to Articles 37v, 37w, 37y of the WpHG [the German Securities Act]

Mainova AG is a Germany-based multi-utility company providing electricity, natural gas, water and heat to the city of Frankfurt am Main in Germany, and in the Rhine-Main region of Germany. It also supplies natural gas to further cities and towns in Hesse, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg. It divides its business activities into seven segments. The segment Heat and Energy Generation consists of the generation of heat, cold and energy through the Company as well as two subsidiaries. The segments Energy Supply, Natural Gas Supply, Water Supply and Heat Supply are engaged in trading, acquisition, allocation, transportation, distribution and related services. The Investments segment includes all of the Company's subsidiaries consolidated at equity that are not engaged in heat/energy generation. The Other activities segment comprises non-core activities of the Company, including services and services for third-parties.
