Makedonski Telekom Skopje : Andreas Elsner is leaving the position of Chief Executive Officer of Makedonski Telekom

Andreas Elsner, the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Makedonski Telekom, will leave the company as of 1 July 2018.

Mr. Elsner is on the position of Chief Executive Officer of Makedonski Telekom from May 2017 and under his leadership, the company notes positive turnaround in its operation enabled by the best network infrastructure, innovative product portfolio and best in class customer experience. He will leave the company having secured successful operating results of Makedonski Telekom for the first quarter of 2018 with growth of 2.6% year-over-year and a strong premium brand position. Information for his future role and responsibilities will be shared soon.

He first came to Macedonia in 2014 to lead the Customer Relationship & Customer Experience Management Department, and soon after, in 2015 he became Chief Operating Officer Consumer, having the key role in the development and the execution of the strategy for converged solutions and services, that challenged the market. Nowadays, every tenth household in Macedonia is using the benefits of Magenta 1, package of converged services of Makedonski Telekom.
One of his firm dedications was leading the path of digitization and preparing Makedonski Telekom to become the enabler of the digitization in the Macedonian society that resulted in the opening of the first Digital Talents Incubator. Furthermore, he was passionately working on the meaningful involvement of the intelligent solutions in the provision of better environmental conditions of the cities.

The strategic projects that were developed and led by Andreas Elsner will provide long-term sustainability in the company operation. As a result of the accomplished achievements, Makedonski Telekom is well-positioned to meet the challenges of the future, to lead the path of digitization in the society and to secure the image of the best converged telecommunications operator.
