Correction to Man Group plc 2013 Annual Report page 43 (Directors' remuneration policy table)

Please note that the words "or retention" in the last sentence of the Notes to the policy table should be deleted so that this sentence reads:

"In addition to the elements of remuneration detailed in the policy table, the Remuneration Committee may consider it appropriate to grant an award under a different structure in order to facilitate the recruitment of an individual, exercising the discretion available under the UKLA Listing Rules (see details in paragraph 2.7)."

The Company confirms that it will not use the discretion available under the UKLA Listing Rules to grant awards for retention purposes.
