This announcement is made by Man Wah Holdings Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to the provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571, Laws of Hong Kong) (the "SFO") requiring disclosure of inside information ("Inside Information Provisions") and Rule 13.09 of The Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules").
The board of directors is pleased to inform investors and shareholders of the Company revenue of the Group for the twelve months ended 31 December 2015.
The total revenue of the Group was approximately HK$7,211.6 million for the twelve months ended 31 December 2015, increased by approximately 13.2% as compared with the twelve months ended 31 December 2014 (comparable period)'s approximately HK$6,373.7 million. Including:
Revenue from North American market was approximately HK$3,972.2 million (including revenue from US market approximately HK$3,783.8 million, revenue from other countries of North American market approximately HK$188.4 million), increased by approximately 14.5% as compared with comparable period's approximately HK$3,469.2 million (including revenue from US market approximately HK$3,268.2 million, revenue from other countries of North American market approximately HK$201.0 million).
Revenue from China market was approximately HK$2,418.0 million, increased by approximately 18.4% as compared with comparable period's approximately HK$2,042.4 million.
Revenue from Europe and Other overseas market was approximately HK$821.4 million, down by approximately 4.7% as compared with comparable period's approximately HK$862.1 million.
This announcement is based on the preliminary review of the management accounts of the Group for the twelve months ended 31 December 2015, which are subject to finalising and adjustment and have not been confirmed or audited nor reviewed by the Company's auditors.
The Company is still in the process of finalising its audited annual results for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2016. Shareholders of the Company and potential investors are advised to read the audited annual results announcement carefully when it is published.
