BOSTON, July 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- John Hancock Investments has named Charles S. Fry IV to its sales team, with responsibility for covering the wirehouse channel in North Carolina, South Carolina and southeastern Virginia. He is based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, and reports to Jim Hickey, Senior Vice President and Divisional Sales Manager.

Most recently, Mr. Fry was Regional Vice President, since 2012, with AXA Distributors, focusing on the management and distribution of all AXA-Equitable annuity products in North Carolina and South Carolina.

He has also held sales positions with LPL Financial Services and Hartford Life Insurance Company. Mr. Fry graduated with a degree in business education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
