Affiliates Practice with Centinel Financial Group

Boston - Financial advisor John F. McAvoy, CFP®, AIF®, has joined independent broker dealer Signator Investors, Inc., and affiliated his practice locally with Centinel Financial Group of Needham Heights, MA.

Involved in financial services since 1992, McAvoy established his own independent financial services firm, Waterstone Retirement Services, in Canton, MA, in 2005. In the years since, he has focused on helping individuals, business owners and public corporations enhance and preserve their wealth.

McAvoy said he was attracted to Signator for the resources it offers advisors in support of their practices, as well as the broker-dealer's long-term succession plan. He also felt that Centinel Financial Group shared the client centric values he believes are critical in a financial services firm.

A graduate of Clark University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, McAvoy received his professional training from The College of Financial Planning. McAvoy is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and is currently serving as President-Elect of the Massachusetts chapter. He is securities licensed in MA, NY, ME, NH, VT, RI, FL, GA and VA.
