Hong Kong - Manulife (International) Limited has announced the appointment of three senior executives in Hong Kong.

Selina Ko, in her new role as Chief Human Resources Officer, has the prime focus of developing people strategies and executing various corporate initiatives to help build Manulife as an Employer of Choice. She is also in charge of strengthening a high performing culture and an engaging environment, to acquire, develop and retain talented employees.

Ms Ko joined Manulife as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, Asia in 2014. Prior to this she held a number of key human resources roles in Hong Kong, Japan and Greater China at country, regional and group levels. She is a well-seasoned professional with more than 20 years' international experience in various areas, covering retail, wholesale and private banking, technology, mergers and acquisitions, talent development, and leadership coaching. Ms Ko holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She is also a certified strengths and team-effectiveness coach, a trained executive coach and an accredited mediator.

Sushmita Munshi has been appointed Assistant Vice President, Distribution Technology and Strategic Projects, and is responsible for the planning and execution of the company's distribution-based projects with the aim of providing state-of-the-art technology to different sales channels.

Ms Munshi has extensive experience in digital strategies and user-experience formulation. In her previous positions with several major digital consulting firms, she worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies to instill a customer-centric ethos for digital solutions, maximizing their returns on investments in technology. She is an active presenter on the conference circuit, including at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Next Bank Asia in Singapore and CHI Connect International Conference in Vienna. Ms Munshi holds a diploma in Communication Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India.

Paul Wong, in the newly created position of Assistant Vice President, Accident and Health Insurance, Individual Financial Products, is responsible for developing Manulife's accident and health capabilities to the fullest. He will play a key role in developing both long and short-term initiatives in these fields. He will identify gaps in capabilities and is tasked with building a prioritized implementation plan to create a class-leading and profitable accident and health business.

Mr Wong has more than 20 years of direct experience in the Hong Kong accident and health business. Before joining Manulife, he worked at several major insurance companies with responsibilities spanning operations, marketing and distribution. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of the State of New York and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada.
