TORONTO, Feb. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Manulife Financial Corporation (NYSE: MFC) (the "Company") has completed today its previously announced public offering in the United States of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.061% subordinated notes due 2032.

The notes were issued pursuant to a prospectus supplement, dated February 21, 2017, to the Company's registration statement declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") on December 18, 2015. Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
