(BM&FBovespa: MRFG3 and Level 1 ADR: MRTTY - "Company" or "Marfrig"), in compliance with Article 31 of CVM Instruction 308, of May 14, 1999 ("ICVM 308/99"), which requires the rotation of independent auditors every five years, hereby informs its shareholders and the general market that it engaged Grant Thornton Auditores Independentes, registered in the roll of corporate taxpayers (CNPJ/MF) under no. 10.830.108/0001-65, as the firm responsible for the independent audit of its financial statements, replacing BDO RCS Auditores Independentes S/S. The activities of Grant Thornton as the independent auditors of the Company will begin with the review of the Quarterly Financial Information (ITR) for the first quarter of fiscal year 2017.
