Award win for Wainwright

The redesign of Wainwright Golden Beer has been awarded a silver award from the prestigious Design Business Association (DBA).

Wainwright was redesigned to create a fresh, modern style, whilst paying homage to author, Alfred Wainwright, famous for his series of illustrated books on the Lakes.

The design focuses on what inspired Alfred most - he was an avid fell walker! Over the course of his 84 years, he walked over 100,000 miles of Britain's most challenging countryside, conquering plenty of peaks. It was Alfred's pioneering spirit that inspired the creation of this golden beer.

The DBA Design Effectiveness awards celebrate the impact of design and creativity on business success. It's not just about good design, it means creating something that works for both the brand and the consumer. The awards also champion collaboration with design agencies.
