Delta Faucet Company is pleased to announce the winners of six $2,500 scholarships for students pursuing plumbing, heating and cooling related studies. The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation administers the scholarship program and is responsible for selecting the scholarship award winners.

Delta Faucet Company has sponsored scholarship awards through PHCC each year since 1986, with a total of $435,000 awarded to over 170 students pursuing studies in the plumbing, heating and cooling industry.

"We know that contractors are looking everywhere for skilled workers to hire," said Sam Straub, vice president of trade sales for Delta Faucet Company. "Through these scholarships, Delta Faucet is helping to connect those contractors with the employees they need to get their work done."

The following students were awarded 2014 Delta Faucet Company scholarships:

    • Jacob Cropp of Manassas, Virginia, is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at West Virginia University.
    • Dylan David of Lakeside, California, is working full-time at PHCC member Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air in El Cajon, California and will be enrolling in the San Diego PHCC Apprentice Program this fall.
    • Corey Koenen of San Diego, California, is working full-time at PHCC member My Plumber in San Diego, California and is enrolled in the PHCC Apprentice Academy of San Diego.
    • Eric Montalvo of San Diego, California, is working full-time at Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc. in San Diego, California and is enrolled in the PHCC Apprentice Academy of San Diego.
    • Anna Powers of West Seneca, New York, is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology.
    • Nolan Rechtin of Bellevue, Kentucky, is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Northern Kentucky University.
