The Advanced Materials group of Materion Corporation (NYSE:MTRN) has been honored for “Supplier Excellence” by Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a world leader in high-performance signal processing technology. This is the second consecutive year that Materion was presented the award for consistently high-quality products and support. The award is presented to outstanding suppliers who work with ADI on the further development and improvement of products and manufacturing processes.

ADI marked its milestone 50th year in business in 2015. The Supplier Excellence Award acknowledges Materion’s contribution to their success in the category of “Indirect Materials.” Multiple Materion facilities in Buffalo and Brewster, New York, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Limerick, Ireland, Subic Bay, Philippines and Singapore were key suppliers of packaging materials, thin film products and related services to ADI. The Materion team was cited in particular for its consistent on-time delivery and high-quality physical vapor deposition (PVD) and packaging materials.

After the announcement of the award, Donald Klimkowicz, President of Materion Advanced Materials, commented, “This is a great honor for Materion and our employees to be recognized two years running with such a prestigious award. We thank Analog Devices for partnering with us and acknowledging our commitment to excellence. We look forward to continuing our good record and providing products and service to ADI that will contribute to their future success.”

To celebrate the presentation of awards, a ceremony and banquet was held in Hong Kong on April 5. In attendance from Materion Advanced Materials were Liam Gallagher, Regional Sales Manager, Ramesh Kothandapani, Applications Manager and Mr. Chuen Wai Loo, Director of Southeast Asia Sales who accepted the award on behalf of Materion.
