MaxiTRANS Industries Limited has today announced a number of changes to its Board of Directors as it positions itself for future growth.

Mr Ian Davis, Chairman since the Company listed in 1994 will retire from the Board on 30 June, 2016. Mr Davis has presided over the company during its growth from a single trailer brand, Maxi-CUBE to the addition of Freighter and became a major player in tippers with the acquisitions of Hamelex White, Lusty EMS and AZMEB. Today, MaxiTRANS is Australia's largest heavy road trailer manufacturer. Mr Davis also oversaw MaxiTRANS' entry into the New Zealand and China markets as well as the diversification into the wholesale and retail trailer parts business with acquisitions including Colrain and Queensland Diesel Spares. The Company's MaxiPARTS network is now one of the largest trailer parts suppliers in the country.

Mr Rob Wylie, a MaxiTRANS non-executive director since 2008, will assume the role of Chairman from Mr Davis on 30 June, 2016. He is currently the Chairman of the Company's Audit and Risk Management Committee. Mr Wylie has extensive experience including a long career in senior positions with Deloitte, both in Australia and internationally including 8 years as National Chairman. A chartered accountant, Mr Wylie is also a former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. From November, 2009 to August, 2012, Mr Wylie was a director of Elders Limited and between October 2008 and December 2011 was a director of Centro Properties Limited and CPT Manager Limited. He is currently a director of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.

As a result of these changes, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Samantha Hogg to the Board. With Mr Wylie's appointment as Chairman, Ms Hogg will assume the role of Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Management Committee. Ms Hogg currently holds non-executive directorships with Hydro Tasmania and TasRail and has previously held senior executive finance roles at Transurban Group, Vale Inco and WMC Resources. Ms Hogg will seek reappointment to the Board at the Company's 2016 Annual General Meeting.
