Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective October 1, 2015.

1. Organizational Changes

(1) Changes in the area of Quality

Aim

  • Enhance the quality assurance system at Hofu Plant.

Details of organizational changes

  • Newly establish the Quality Engineering Dept. (Hofu) within the Quality Div. and transfer functions of continuously improving vehicle and transmission quality, previously carried out by the Quality Engineering Dept. to the new department.

(2) Changes in the area of Domestic Business

Aim

  • As requests from customers become more diverse and specialized, enhance planning and promotion of customers relations in order to respond more quickly to customer feedback.

Details of the organizational changes

  • Change the status of the Customer Relations Office in the Domestic Business Div. from group to department level and rename it Customer Relations Dept.
