East Boston Savings Banks was proud to be the main sponsor of this year's Boston Jazz Fest at the Seaport Maritime Park in Boston. The festival provided great entertainment that featured both local and national jazz artists. Representatives from the bank attended the festival and had a great time meeting with local residents and handing out a few fun giveaways and raffle prizes.

Meridian Bancorp, Inc., incorporated on March 6, 2014, is a company, which directs, plans and coordinates East Boston Savings Bank's (the Bank) business activities. The Company operates the Bank, Meridian Interstate Bancorp, Inc. and Meridian Financial Services, Incorporated. The Bank is a Massachusetts-chartered stock savings bank, which conducts its business from 42 full-service locations, one mobile branch and three loan centers in the greater Boston metropolitan area. It offers a variety of deposit and loan products to individuals and businesses located in primary market, including Suffolk, Norfolk, Middlesex and Essex Counties, Massachusetts. It attracts deposits from the general public and use those funds to originate one- to four-family real estate, multi-family and commercial real estate, construction, commercial and industrial, and consumer loans, which it primarily holds for investment. Its lending business also involves the purchase and sale of loan participation interests.
