The Hub is a 44,000 square-foot historically significant facility housing 75 companies and 3 post-secondary educational institutions as well as more than 30 functional peer groups involving the 1,000 tech companies in Waterloo Region.

Communitech is a not-for-profit organization that helps technology companies in Ontario, Canada start, grow and succeed while promoting Waterloo Region as a technology cluster. Waterloo Region is home to almost 1,000 tech companies that span the information technology, digital media, biomedical, aerospace, environmental technology and advanced manufacturing sectors.
