The oven baking operation was successfully finished by the 5th China Metallurgical Construction Group (5MCC Group) for the coke dry quenching (CDQ) works (110t/h) of Yugang Group on October 9, 2014.
Located in Lanzhou City of Gansu Province, it is the supportive facility and cogeneration system for the newly-built No. 1 and No. 2 coke oven (2×65 holes and 4.3m) of Yugang Group. The construction scope covers: manufacturing and installation of non-standard devices such as the CDQ and the primary de-dusting system; masonry works for CDQ; civil works; installation of the supportive equipment, pipeline and steam turbine equipment; external heating line and regional pipe gallery. After completion, the CDQ treatment capability will be 110t/h, the rated power, rated voltage and current of the steam turbine are respectively 16MW, 10.5KV and 1237.2A.
Under the CDQ Works of Yugang Group, the heat utilization ratio of the coke can be greatly increased, the energy demand for production of Yugang Group can be satisfied. In addition, it is of great importance for the energy conservation, emission reduction and optimization of industrial structure, which is in compliance with the development orientation of low-carbon and environment-friendly economy.
