The Heavy Machinery Company of MCC Baosteel Technology Services Co., Ltd. (BTS) announced that, the OP3 Heat Recovery Boiler Project contracted for Hitachi BHK of Japan was fully completed. The last batch of component was delivered at Jungonglu Terminal in 10th Port Zone of Shanghai on October 8, 2014.
The project contract was awarded in the end of 2013. This Heat Recovery System is designed for Ogishima Power Plant, which is built by Hitachi BHK for Tokyo Electric Power Co. (Tepco) in Kawasaki. The manufacturing period has lasted for nearly nine months, and the components have been delivered in ten batches, with a total weight of over 1,100 tons. The system mainly consists of inlet/outlet air flue, top module, bottom module, side shell and internal support, as well as passageway and ammonia devices.
