China ENFI Engineering Corp. (ENFI) received a notification on October 21, 2014 that, the Multi-functional Composite Filter Material, which was jointly developed by ENFI and Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) through a R&D process of two years, passed through the inspection by Filter Monitoring Center of Northeastern University, an authorized Testing Organization by the State Government. This symbolizes that a breakthrough has been achieved in the R&D of Multi-functional Composite Filter, which has opened a new orientation for the localization and continuous improvement of high-performance fiber filter in China.
As the core of the gas filtering equipment, this kind of filtering material can be utilized in flue-gas dust collecting, dust removal by ventilation and material transmission in various industries such as non-ferrous metals, steel, cement and power sector. The successful development of the filter has resulted in the localization and continuous improvement of high-performance fiber filter in China, and broken the monopoly of the similar foreign products in the market. The temperature tolerance of the filtering material under the lab condition can be increased up to 350℃. It is featured by not only the high filtering precision, but also high performance in various aspects such as resistance to acid corrosion, resistance to hydrolyzation, resistance to oxidation and flame retardance. In addition, its cost is over 20% lower than those of the similar productions in the market.
