Metallurgical of China : Baosteel Group Chairman Xu Lejiang Investigates and Surveys CRIBC Zhanjiang Environmental Protection Company

On August 19th, Baosteel Group Chairman and Party Committee Secretary Xu Lejiang and his delegation visited the CRIBC Zhanjiang Environmental Protection Company to investigate, survey and direct the work.

Xu Lejiang gave full affirmation to the CRIBC Zhanjiang Environmental Protection Company, which plays an active role in Baosteel's steel construction, production and operation in Zhanjiang, and expressed his congratulations for its performance in technology, craftsmanship, operation situation and service ability. He then pointed out that the Zhanjiang Steel Environmental Protection BOO Project was a successful attempt in the environmental protection field. The operation of the project and Zhanjiang Steel's production were closely connected and supplemented each other, which not only reflects the fact that Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel works hard for the construction idea 'Ecological Zhan Steel, Green Zhan Steel', but also perfectly demonstrates the simple yet profound MCC spirit of 'Never delaying and never slacking'.

Xu Lejiang put forward three requirements for the next work of the CRIBC Zhanjiang Environmental Protection Company: first, closely connect with Baosteel, firmly grasp the enterprise's self-location requirement of 'Build a Green and Ecological Zhan Steel and Enjoy the Clear Views Together', and continually strengthen the ability of the professional technique service to facilitate the production and operation of Baosteel's Zhanjiang Steel. Second, constantly optimize and perfect the technology and skills, and increase the effective rate of the equipment's operation. Oriented by 'Optimizing Production, Economic Production', the Company should reduce the cost of its enterprise operation and achieve the target of energy conservation and cost reduction with Baosteel's Zhanjiang Steel so as to realize the actual benefits of the project as early as possible. Third, he hopes that the CRIBC Zhanjiang Environmental Protection Company can give full play to its own advantages and expand its cooperation in further environmental protection projects with Baosteel's Zhanjiang Steel. Xu Lejiang and his party also went to the project's steelmaking slag treatment workshop to understand the equipment techniques and operation situation in detail.

They were accompanied in the investigation and survey by Baosteel Corporation Vice General Manager, Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Chairman Sheng Genghong, Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel General Manager Liu Daide, and the leading group members and department heads from each department of the CRIBC Zhanjiang Environmental Protection Company.
