Metallurgical of China : MCC Group Successfully Completes Chaoyang District NPC Member General Election Poll

On November 15th, according to the Chaoyang District NPC Member general election plan, the MCC Group held the Chaoyang District NPC Member general election poll activity in the hall of the first floor of the Headquarters. The poll commenced at 8:30 a.m. of that day, and was attended by over 500 staff members from the Headquarters and subsidiaries.

The Group's Party Committee paid close attention to the poll, and carried out extensive preparatory works before the poll including mobilization, strict reviews, elector registration, publicity of the candidates based on the procedures, and coordination with the Zuojiazhuang Branch of the Chaoyang District Electoral Committee on the election system to ensure the effective arrangement of the poll. As the 29th polling station, it was well-arranged according to the requirements of conducting the poll in order and on time, and the Group's electors wrote their ballots and made their votes for the District NPC Member, exercising their electoral rights bestowed by the law, and bringing the election poll to a successfully conclusion.

According to reports, the expiration of the Chaoyang District 15th People's Congress falls at the end of 2016, and a general election needs to be held in accordance the election act and organic act of the District NPC Standing Committee's Decisions on the People's Congress General Election and District NPC Member General Election Operation Plan.
