Metallurgical of China : MCC Honored as Class A Enterprise in 2015 Operating Performance Assessment of Central Enterprise Principals

On July 20th, SASAC's website published a list of Class A enterprises in operating performance assessment of central enterprise principals in 2015 and during the term of office from 2013 to 2015. In the list, the MCC Group was assessed as a Class A enterprise and had the honor of winning the honorary title 'Excellent Enterprise in Scientific and Technological Innovation' during the term of office from 2013 to 2015. This is the first time that the MCC Group has ever been listed as a Class A enterprise since SASAC set up the assessment system, and another leap of progress since MCC ascended two steps to Class B from Class D in the operating performance assessments central enterprise principals in 2013, which realizes the phased goal 'One Step in One Year and One Leap in Three Years' put forward by President Guo Wenqing in 2013. Gaining this Class A performance assessment indicates that MCC has been listed among the most advanced central enterprises for operating performance, asset quality, risk management & control, enterprise management and other aspects.

In 2015, in the face of the increased descending pressure in the macro economy and the extremely depressed condition of the traditional metallurgical construction market, under SASAC's correct leadership, the MCC Group used innovation as an engine, used reform as power and actively adapted to the new normal of China's economy, and all MCC people carried forward the MCC spirit of 'Never delaying and never slacking', forged ahead and spared no efforts to expand the market, mastered transformation, controlled risks and strengthened management. The quality and efficiency of all operating indexes were promoted steadily to realize growth against the trend, making positive contributions to 'stabilizing growth' among central enterprises.
