Metallurgical of China : MCC Huatian Signs Contract for Thin Oil Gas Chamber to Single-Section Rubber Membrane Chamber Conversion General Contracting Project

　　On August 15th, MCC Huatian's Industrial Environment Energy Branch Company successfully signed a contract with Xingtai Xinlong Gas Recovery Co., Ltd. for the Thin Oil Gas Chamber to Single-Section Rubber Membrane Chamber Conversion General Contracting Project.

　　This project adopts the internationally advanced 'thin oil sealing gas chamber to single-section rubber membrane seal-type gas chamber conversion' technology ('thin oil to single-section chamber' for short) independently researched and developed by MCC Huatian after negotiating exclusive tendering with the owners. The company intends to transfer its sci-tech achievements into engineering applications. 'Thin oil to single-section chamber' technology can not only thoroughly solve the operation problems of the original thin oil sealing gas chamber and greatly improve its performance, but also save all kinds of gases including blast furnace gas and converter gas. It has such advantages as rapid valve speed, applicability in cold areas, zero pollution, low operation and maintenance costs and so on. At present, this technology has been successfully implemented at the facilities of the Changzhou Zenith Steel Group Corporation for the first time, and it is also the world's first technology of its kind. This technology has an important significance for MCC Huatian to maintain its industrial leader status in gas chamber technology and achieve enhanced gas chamber market exploration at home and abroad.
