A few days ago, at the 2016 'Create Youth' Capital Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the 'First domestic construction waste 3D printing technology' invented independently by MCC subordinate MCC22's Beijing Chongjian Co., Ltd. beat over 700 other projects participating in the competition to winthe Silver Award due to its prominent practicability and obvious commercial value. It wasthe only central enterprise project in the competition. The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League will hang out its shingle to instruct the award-winningproject onthe Communist Youth League's 'mass entrepreneurship and innovation' platform. Beijing Chongjian Co., Ltd. is also one of the top 10 innovative studios in Dongcheng District, and it has finished itsacceptance inspection.

In August 2016, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development of the People's Republic of China clearlypointed outin its Document No.183 that the construction industry should implement 3D printing equipment and material application. Previously, '3D printing technology'wasa research hotspot in the global construction industry. It lies in the test stage of 'playing a watercooler moment' and cannot yet conduct commercialized application. While MCC22's Beijing Chongjian Co., Ltd. organized a green construction intelligence research team led by Party Committee Secretary and General Manager Zhao Liang. The average age of the team's members is under 33. The team actively tackled hard-cut problems in science and technology, researched and developed its 'construction waste 3D printing technology' independently, and brought 3D printing technology in the construction industry to the stage of practicability from engaging in idle theorizing.

'Construction waste 3D printing technology' takes construction site waste as itsoriginal materialand applies it to large temporary facility construction after converting it to wealth. The waste piled on construction sitescan be printed tocreate such products as walls, guardrails, landscaping and safety caution boards. This technology greatly increases the efficiency of 3D printing by means of standardized production without models. Compared with traditional manual construction methods, its efficiency is advanced by 50 times. It possesses particularly outstanding advantages in the processing and production of special and unusualtypes of construction brands and identifications. It greatly savesboth funds and time in such aspects as project cost and required man-hours for projects in their temporary construction stage, and has quite high industry-leading and innovative properties. The product also has such competitive strengths as national policies and background resources,and the innovative power required forthe long-term development ofconstruction enterprises.

In July 30th, 2016, the research and development team succeeded in researching and developing two 'delta'-type desktop 3D printers that printed the first batchof 'commemoration version' brush pots for the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, models of Beijing's city flower the China rose, 12 Chinese zodiac sign models and other 3D desk culture artware. In just onemonth, the 'zero breakthrough' was fulfilled after starting from scratch. On October 18th, on the basis of original research and development achievements, the team members succeeded in developing amodel large-scale 3D waste printer machine. They took samples fromthe Tongzhou '2 Stations and 1 Street'Project'ssite where the company is located. They were successful inmaking a dieless waste agent suitable forthe region by matching. With this, the large-scale 3D waste printer's debugging and running was normal, and the printing test succeeded. In just a few months, the research team insisted on the research and development concepts of technological and process innovation, saving and creating benefits for Chongjian Co., Ltd. of about totally RMB 0.25 million. The principal of the team Wang Enpeng took the'Large-scale 3D waste printer Z axis moulding system' as the core technology to apply for a national invention patent on September 16th.

MCC22's Beijing Chongjian Co., Ltd. Party Committee Secretary and General Manager Zhao Liang said, 'In the past, the waste treatment of construction sitesrequired money to be spent onthe transportationfees, occupation of the absorptive field and materials for building the construction site's fences and hardening its pavement. It would also generate dust that affected air quality. Now, with this 3D waste printing technology, these matters that used tocost money will become matters that can make money. Printed building products can be sold if the construction site itself has no need of them.' Take a residence group building of200,000m2 as an example. If it has two floorsunderground, its waste amount is about 150,000m3. Even though the waste treatment absorption has a transport distance of only 5 km, the transport and absorption charge can reach RMB 7.5millionin Beijing. Asidefrom saving transport charges and absorption fees, it will reduce dust treatment charges of RMB 1 million in terms of social benefits. Concurrently, since the waste outward transport and material backhaul of walls and pavement materials are reduced, it will also moderately decrease vehicle exhaust emissions, thereby playing an active role in the management of urban haze.

It is not easy toachieve such accomplishments, and the project benefited from its useful exploration on the road of innovation and creating benefits for every level of the company. Since 2013, led by Zhao Liang,the whole staff of MCC22's Beijing Chongjian Co., Ltd. held high the flag of 'innovation and creating benefits',and the atmosphere of 'innovation and creating benefits'for every level ofthe company gradually became denser.
