Metrovias SA is an Argentina-based company engaged, through a public agreement concession, in the operation, maintenance, management and exploitation of the public passenger transportation network in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The concession agreement comprises the Buenos Aires subway lines; the Premetro tram lines, and the Ferrocarril General Urquiza suburban railroad. The Company's activities also include the execution and implementation of improvement projects and maintenance works. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held minor stakes in Unidad de Gestion Operativa Ferroviaria de Emergencia SA (UGOFE) and Ferrometro SA, as well as Benito Roggio Transporte SA was the Company's majority shareholder with 90.66% of its interest.
