MGI Coutier specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of automotive equipment. The group's activity is organized around 5 families of product:
- door opening and hinging mechanisms: door stops and hinges, locks, opening controls, foot switches, etc.;
- fuel systems;
- motor parts: air distributors, filtration and cooling systems, fuel injection ramps, etc.;
- windshield washing electrical components and complete systems (Mecatronic);
- closure systems. The group also develops an aftermarket activity.
At the end 2011, the group had 35 production sites worldwide.
Net sales (including intragroup) break down geographically as follows: France (48.8%), Western Europe (13.9%), North America (13.5%) and other (23.8%).
