Vancouver, BC, Canada - Monday, February 24, 2014- Minaean International Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: MIB; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: NJA) has been informed that it is a defendant in a lawsuit filed in the Supreme Court of British Columbia by Export Development Canada ("EDC"). The agency claims that Minaean owes it $615,702 plus $500,000 (U.S.). The amounts allegedly represent loans that EDC guaranteed for Minaean.  The allegations are contained in a brief Notice of Claim filed at the Vancouver courthouse last month.

The Company has not been served a Notice of the lawsuit but it already in discussions with EDC for an amicable settlement.
