A Mitsubishi Outlander crossover will serve as the Official Pace Car of the first ever Color Run Night™ 5-kilometer run on Saturday, October 18th

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has been named "The Official Vehicle Partner" of the upcoming "The Color Run Night™" event in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 18, 2014.

The Color Run is an untimed 5-kilometer paint race in which thousands of participants known as "color runners" begin the run wearing all-white clothing at the start line and are doused from head-to-toe in a variety of colors at each passing kilometer marker, culminating the event covered in color for a Finish Festival which includes food, live music and dancing.

The commitment Mitsubishi Motors' has as the Official Vehicle Partner in the first The Color Run Night 5k event includes:

  • Providing a customized and performance-tuned version of the Mitsubishi Outlander 7-passenger crossover as the Official Pace Car, leading the color runners with flashing lights at the start of the race
  • Sponsorship of the Pink Zone kilometer marker during the race that will include a display of several brightly-colored Mitsubishi Mirage vehicles - the most fuel efficient gasoline-powered non-hybrid in America
  • Exclusive sponsorship of the packet pickup area, where participants can pick up their color runner shirts before the event and learn more about the brand's affordably-priced and highly fuel efficient new vehicles
