Mitsui & Co., Ltd. announced today it has completed the sale of its wholly owned Bald Hills Wind Farm (BHWF) to Australian-based Infrastructure Capital Group.

The BHWF is located in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. The 52 turbine facility developed solely by Mitsui has an installed capacity of 106.6 MW and commenced operations in 2015. Mitsui remains committed to delivering renewable energy infrastructure to the Australian market and the sale of BHWF will allow Mitsui to reinvest proceeds in the development of new projects.

Mitsui will actively pursue new greenfield renewable energy projects, including wind and solar power generation, and energy storage opportunities.
