Mizuho Becomes Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner

Mizuho Financial Group President and CEO Yasuhiro Sato and the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games President Yoshiro Mori have concluded an agreement designating Mizuho as a Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner. Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner is the highest domestic tier of the Tokyo 2020 Sponsorship Programme, and Mizuho has been attributed the category of "Banking." With this appointment, Mizuho is committed to extending its full support to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games over the next six years.
Mizuho's relationship with the Olympic Games dates back to supporting the organization of the 1964
Olympic Games hosted by Tokyo and storage of the official Olympic flag. Half a century later, Mizuho is once again honored to be part of Japan's efforts to host the world's foremost sports competition and help athletes achieve their dreams and provide inspiration to spectators.
