Modern Times Mtg : MTG Studios original series ‘Black Lake’ acquired by BBC Four and AMC Networks-backed Shudder

'Black Lake' follows a group of young friends who visit an abandoned ski resort in northern Sweden, where strange noises from the basement are just the start of a series of horrifying events. The eight-part series stars up-and-coming Nordic talents Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Filip Berg and Valter Skarsgård.

'Black Lake' will air on BBC Four in the UK later this year. AMC Networks-backed premium streaming service Shudder has acquired first-run rights in the US and Canada and second-run rights in the UK and Ireland, following deals concluded by international distributor Banijay Rights.
