In his presentation, "SDN/NFV Algorithmic Search for Scalable Systems with Tb/s Throughput," MoSys’ VP of technology innovation and system applications, Michael Miller, will present how high-rate, flexible and reconfigurable memory architectures can meet Carrier Ethernet service provider requirements for expanded services and increased bandwidth monetization by delivering scalable applications. An example of the architectural flexibility of the latest Bandwidth Engine® 3 architecture will highlight the ability to implement LPM and ACL searches using algorithms and software from Oricane to support systems up to 1Tbps and beyond.

 

What:

This one-day, single-track conference focuses on system design for wired and wireless infrastructure including Carrier Ethernet, optical transport, broadband infrastructure, and wireless base stations. The conference program will include subjects ranging from base-station to terabit line-card designs. Relevant chips discussed will include network processors (NPUs), small-cell processors, control-plane processors, and related devices.
