MOTA-ENGIL CLARIFIES ON PARTICIPATION IN A TENDER FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION CONTRACT IN IVORY COAST
Following the release today of an article in the press on the participation in a solid waste collection contract in Ivory Coast and upon a request of CMVM, Mota-Engil SGPS, SA ("MOTA-ENGIL") confirms that, in fact, it submitted a commercial proposal under the scope of the aforementioned tender.
The commercial activity of the GROUP is promoted, almost exclusively, through competitive processes, in their several forms (eg public tenders, private tenders, invitations, with prequalification, etc.). These competitive processes, usually established under confidentiality agreements between the different parties involved, observe several stages of development, only being effectively relevant, for the future activity of the company, and as such object of communication to the market, those that will result in the subsequent award and the establishment of a signed contract with the respective client.
