MOTA-ENGIL WON CONTRACTS IN AFRICA WORTH 520 MILLION DOLLARS

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that MOTA-ENGIL AFRICA won a project in Mozambique for the Brazilian mining company, Vale, amounting to 445 million dollars and MOTA-ENGIL ANGOLA signed a contract in Angola for the Luanda Local Government, worth 76 million dollars.

The contract in Mozambique includes the execution of mining services involving drilling, explosives supply, loading and transport of barren and coal, in Vale's Moatize coal mining project. Vale, one of the largest mining companies in the world and ranks #1 amongst Latin American companies is headquartered in Brazil and is present in five continents.

The works in Angola include the renovation of the streets of Luanda, including the repair of holes, sidewalks and curbs, the placement of traffic signs and the cleaning of sewage collectors, among other services and supplies (3rd phase).
