ROSSETI CENTRE In order to reduce losses IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division developed and implements the Program of energy conservation and improvement of energy efficiency for the period of 2013-2018. As part of the program implementation organizational and technical measures are carried out aimed at reducing the consumption of fuel and energy resources on utility needs of the branch.
As a result of 8 months of 2015 the branch reduced the actual cost of fuel and energy resources (electricity, natural gas, heat energy) on the utility needs by 13% compared with the planned values.
For 8 months of 2015 the actual power consumption (in natural terms) on the utility needs of the branch declined by 6.4% in comparison with the planned figures and by 11.5% compared to the same period in 2014. The given saving was achieved by a significant reduction in consumption of electric energy in the heating period after the transfer in 2014 of heating systems of bases of Yartsevsky, Ershichsky Distribution Zones from electric boilers to gas ones, and installation of an automatic power control system for electric heating boilers at Kardymovsky Distribution Zone, as well as due to the carryover effect from the implementation of previous transition for gas boilers of the bases of Pochinkovsky, Krasninsky , Kholm-Zhirkovsky Distribution Zones. An analysis of electric energy consumption revealed that about 75-80% of the total consumption of electricity for household needs of bases of Distribution Zones is just for heating premises using electric boilers, so the branch focuses on the program of technical re-equipment of Distribution Zone bases aimed at improving the energy efficiency of energy resources use for heating.
