For five months of this year IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division in preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter peak loads performed about 30% of the annual repair program. It overhauled more than 570 km of overhead and cable lines of 0.4-110 kV, 8 substations of 35-110 kV and over 250 transformer substations of 0.4 kV. About 278 hectares of ROWs along power lines were cleared and widened from tree seedlings, which under adverse weather conditions could cause interruptions.

A comprehensive overhaul was completed at the 35-110 kV substations "May", "Dmitrievka" and the repair at the 35-110 kV substations "Borisovka", "Aydar", "Konshino", "Pyatnitskoye", "New Tavolzhanka" and "Shakhovka "is coming to an end, which are key centres of power for industrial and residential consumers of several districts of the region. The need for routine preventive measures is confirmed by both the statutory life of the equipment and its current state, recorded by the diagnostics service and reflected in the database of the branch.

In Alexeevky, Valuisky, Yakovlevsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Shebekinsky, Borisovsky, Korochansky, Prokhorovksky, Ivnyansky, Gubkinsky and Stary Oskolsky districts work on preparation for the autumn-winter operation period was complete, including roof repaired at forty-seven brick transformer substations, doors replaced at eleven brick transformer substations and construction part of 23 transformer substations was repaired.

The bulk of maintenance work is carried out by the power engineers on their own, without involvement of contractors. On the one hand, it allows for a certain flexibility and efficiency of decision-making, on the other hand - to reduce costs while retaining planned physical volumes of the repair campaign.

Please, be reminded that 246 million rubles were allocated this year to ensure a high level of reliability of electricity supply.
