MRSK Tsentra : Head of "Russian Grids" Oleg Budargin thanked the staff of IDGC of Centre for the reliable and responsible operation in the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015

In the address of IDGC of Centre a telegram of thanks was received from General Director of JSC "Russian Grids" Oleg Budargin.

In it the head of "Russian Grids" expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of IDGC of Centre for responsible operation and ensuring a high level of reliability of the electric grid complex in the autumn-winter period. "Thanks to the professionalism, unity and mutual assistance, "Russian Grids" reduced the specific failure rate by 28 percent, and the average time of power interruptions - down to three hours. These figures, of course, were contributed by the labor of the team of IDGC of Centre," stresses Oleg Budargin.

Following the results of operation through the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015, IDGC of Centre entered the top five of subsidiaries and associates of JSC "Russian Grids", which showed the results the best results reducing the failure rate during the peak load season. The average time of power interruptions was decreased to two hours, the number of failures in the grid fell 26.8%. Successful operation of personnel of first responding and restoration crews of IDGC of Centre regarding the immediate elimination of technological violations was given as an example at the extended production meeting of "Russian Grids" on the results of operation through the autumn-winter peak loads.

To achieve such a result it was made possible largely due to the fact that the company did not allow the reduction of targets of the repair program in 2014 - one of the most important components of the preparation for the winter. In the course of its implementation more than 22 thousand kilometres of power lines were overhauled, major repairs were performed at 166 substations of 35-110 kV and 5,278 feeding centres of 0.4-10 kV. IDGC of Centre spent 1.858 billion rubles to finance the repair program in 2014.
