19.11.2015 heads of HR departments and representatives of the primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre took part in a training seminar 'Special assessment of working conditions'.

The need for training is linked primarily to the increased attention of the company and the trade union organization to the evaluation of working conditions, to preserve their health, as well as in connection with the entry into force in 2014 of Federal Law № 426 'On the special assessment of working conditions' from 28.12.2013, which provides for the complete replacement of the procedure of certification of workplaces with special assessment of working conditions. It is based on the identification of hazards of a working process and assessment of their negative impact on the employee, taking into account deviations from the established norms, as well as reducing injuries and improving working conditions.

An expert at the seminar was a leading researcher of the State Organization 'Institute of Labour and Social Security' of the Ministry of Labour of Russia, Ph.D. Dmitriy Gnatyuk. He talked about the features of the special assessment of working conditions, security and compensation provided to employees based on his results, the use of the special assessment results. He also acquainted the participants with typical labour law violations during the supervisory activities that should be avoided, especially denoting what an important role a trade union organization plays in ensuring labour rights of employees in the course of this process.

According to Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova: 'Ensuring decent working conditions of employees is an important area to work together for the HR service of the company and the trade union organization. Education in the format of the seminar provides an excellent opportunity to discuss all questions arisen, both with colleagues and with the expert and get satisfactory answers and advice in real time.'
