MRSK Tsentra : IDGC of Centre monitors the quality of electric energy

Specialists of the department of metrology and quality of electric energy of IDGC of Centre summed up the results of metrological support of production for the 1st half of 2014. During this period the metrological services of IDGC of Centre's branches calibrated 10,262 working measuring instruments, checked 7,543 measuring instruments, of which 1,983 measuring current and voltage transformers and 889 electricity meters.

During the given period they measured quality of electricity in 3,494 control points. The power engineers also repeatedly performed checks on customers' applications for non-compliance with the quality of electric energy. This work enables the specialists of the department of metrology and quality of electric energy of a branch of IDGC of Centre to monitor the quality of electricity supplied to consumers, if necessary, to organize the development and implementation of corrective and preventive measures to bring performance in line with regulatory requirements such as - reconstruction of the grid, increasing the cross section of wires, regulating the voltage level, load redistribution and others.
