MRSK Tsentra : Kurskenergo calls for rational use of energy resources

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held a meeting with heads of municipalities of Zolotukhinsky district of the Kursk region. The main topic of the meeting was to popularize energy conservation and energy efficiency, rational use of energy resources in the utility sector, power plants of consumers.

20 leaders present talked about the problems posed by the State in the field of energy saving and improving the efficiency of the Russian economy, housing and communal services. The power engineers also informed the Heads on the main objectives of the State program of the Russian Federation "Energy saving and energy efficiency for the period until 2020" and gave practical useful recommendations. For example, replacement of wooden windows with plastic, installation of switchgear with automatic heating adjustment and energy-saving lamps and lighting fixtures will help increase the level of energy saving of buildings. And modern metering devices should meter this energy.
