The delegation of IDGC of Centre, headed by General Director Oleg Isaev, took part in the IV International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Saving ENES-2015, organized by the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the Moscow Government.

The forum was opened by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Deputy Energy Minister Anton Inyutsyn, and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

Opening the event, Arkady Dvorkovich said: 'Low oil prices will remain at this level for a long time, we have to live in conditions of severe budget constraints at all levels, from the government to the corporate sector. Now we need to focus on energy efficiency policies in all its manifestations.'

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak stressed: 'Energy efficiency is now a key factor in the competitiveness of our economy. Without achieving and decision-making in this area, we will not be able to compete in the fuel and energy markets.'

The forum was attended by representatives of international companies and organizations, the Russian business community and public authorities. Experts discussed the mechanisms for the implementation of the state program 'Energy efficiency and energy development', outlined ways to reduce the energy intensity of the various branches of industry and shared their experience in the field of energy efficiency.

General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev took part in a panel session on 'Infrastructure development of sparsely populated and isolated areas: new service standards and sources of investment'. The participants discussed technical solutions to move to the effective service of the sparsely populated and isolated areas, ways to attract investment in this sector, as well as the cost of infrastructure services.

First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin at a meeting of chief engineers of electric grid companies devoted his speech to the issue of the use of equipment and materials on the criterion of the lowest life-cycle cost, paying particular attention to the need to find a reasonable balance between the level of reliability of the power system and the level of costs of its maintenance and development, taking into account the cost of the life cycle of industrial assets.

Head of Public Relations Department of IDGC of Centre Evgeniya Fisenko at the all-Russian meeting on the promotion of energy-saving way of life, which was attended by heads of press services of the federal, regional and municipal executive authorities, as well as the largest state-owned companies, shared the experience of the system work on promotion of energy conservation and efficiency. 'In the regions of its service area the company has established good cooperation with the departments of education. Under their auspices IDGC of Centre actively works to promote energy saving and electrical injuries prevention. The positive effect is provided by the agreement of annual training of teaching staff of educational institutions, which is carried out by specialists IDGC of Centre,' said Evgeniya Fisenko. 'It allows us to create a culture of energy conservation with children and adults of Russia,' she added.

Business events of the Forum were accompanied by awarding winners of the Second All-Russian competition of completed projects in the field of energy conservation, energy efficiency and energy development ENES and the First All-Russian contest of the media, press services of fuel and energy companies and regional administrations 'MediaTEK'. This year 8 projects of IDGC of Centre became winners of these contests.

The ENES Forum - this is the main event in the field of energy efficiency, conducted by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The ENES Exhibition has been organized since 2011 by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The ENES Exhibition and Conference is held at the Gostiny Dvor with the organizational support of the Government of Moscow. The ENES Exhibition gathers leaders of the energy industry from all over Russia. Delegations from many foreign countries come to visit ENES.
