ROSSETI CENTRE Having started July 1, 2015, the second season of the students' construction crew under the guidance of experts of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division has entered the active phase of operations.
Currently, 31 students of the branch of "National Research University "MPEI" in the city of Smolensk are performing different types of work.
One group of students is involved to lay a 6 kV cable from the 110/35/6 kV substation "North" to LLC "Elizabeth", which is engaged in bread production. Another part of the construction crew initially installed 0.4 kV cables for grid connection of a future kindergarten in the micro-district Nightingale Grove, and now is involved in clearing ROWs around the settlement of Talashkino, where it is planned to extend a 10 kV overhead line and construct a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation for connection of residential sector that is being built.
The largest group of members of the students' construction crew is working in the centre of Smolensk on Tenisheva Street engaged in the installation of 0.4 kV cable lines for grid connection of the Smolensk Zoo.
"I am delighted that the construction crew movement began to revive. A construction crew is an opportunity to test ourselves in practice, to gain work experience in the profession, which is very important," shared his impressions a 4th year student of the branch of "National Research University "MPEI" in the city of Smolensk Andrey Boydariko.
