IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for the first half of 2014. All program activities are carried out in full and on time, and, several areas are ahead of schedule.

From January to June 2014 Tambovenergo's experts repaired 121 transformer substations of 6-10 kV and 108 transformers of 10/0.4 kV, which are, respectively, 117% and 102% of the schedule. More than 460 kilometers of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines were repaired, which is 24 km above planned. About 319 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines were cleared (the plan was made up of 109%).

Total in 2014, according to the plan, Tambov power engineers will repair more than a thousand kilometers of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines, 153 transformer substations of 6-10 kV and 168 transformers of 10/0.4 kV; perform comprehensive renovation of four 35 kV substations; clear more than 557 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines.

"All the work is being done efficiently and in a timely manner. Now the repair campaign has entered its most active stage: most of the work is to be completed by the start of autumn. Implementation of the plan will allow Tambovenergo to solve the problem of improving the reliability of power supply, increasing the quality of electricity transmission to consumers, as well as to prepare for the autumn-winter 2014-2015 operation period," stressed Deputy Director for Technical Issues - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
