IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up the activities of delivery of electric energy for 2015. During this period 5.47 billion kWh of electricity was delivered to consumers, which is 55.1 million kWh more than the final figures in 2014.

While increasing the productive supply of electric energy Kurskenergo's experts succeeded in reducing losses in the distribution grid of 10/0.4 kV. So, following the results of 2015 in comparable conditions, they were reduced by 3.7 million kWh. This amount, for example, corresponds to the annual power consumption of the settlement of Medvenka in the Kursk region with a population of 4.3 thousand people.

Implementation by the enterprise of a number of organizational and technical measures contributed to the performance improvement. Kurskenergo's specialists held inspections and raids to suppress facts of non-contractual and non-metered electricity consumption, as a result of which in 2015 they identified 4.7 million kWh of energy unaccounted for.

Measures were taken to optimize operating modes of substations, modernization of an automated information measurement system of commercial electric power metering (AMR). Last year Kurskenergo's employees also installed 64 communal metering devices in multi-apartment buildings.
