MRSK Tsentra : Smolenskenergo’s specialists organized a road show for consumers of Yartsevsky district

29 April 2016 on the site of Yartsevsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division a meeting with consumers and potential customers of the company's services was held, the theme of which was the clarification of the rules of grid connection. At the event there were invited consumers, who had filed an application for grid connection, and those who are in the two-week period before the meeting received contracts for grid connection implementation. These roadshows were already held in the previous year for residents of large districts of the Smolensk region - Safonovo, Vyazma and Roslavl. They traditionally attract the attention and interest of consumers of districts planning connection to the grid of the branch.

The purpose of the road show is to clarify the legal requirements for grid connection, talk about the main stages of the procedure, methods of application, the list of documents that must be submitted when filing the application, the procedure to conclude the agreement on the implementation of connection to the grid, which measures according to the technical specifications the applicant should provide.

At the meeting in Yartsevo Chief of the Distribution Zone Pavel Mikheev and his deputy for sale of services Sergey Romanenko provided all the needed information for connection to Smolenskenergo's grids. At the end of the report the customers we were able to ask questions, seek clarification on how to proceed on the connection of specific facilities, take brochures and leaflets informing about the basic and additional services of the branch.

The power engineers paid special attention to the possibility of a new integrated service 'Grid connection support' in which IDGC of Centre's experts, in addition to the main contract, are ready to carry out the whole list of activities related to the customer's competence. The integrated service in support of grid connection includes all activities, ranging from the installation of ground loop and ending with the issuance of an act of differentiation of operating responsibility.

The rules of grid connection of power installations of consumers of electric energy, facilities for generation of electrical energy and power grid facilities owned power grid organizations and other persons were approved by the RF Government Decree of 27.12.2004 № 861, but according to the power engineers just such events allow customers to understand all the intricacies of this procedure.

Regular round tables, seminars, open doors days, travelling meetings, advocacy themed events with consumers are important for understanding by customers of their area of ​​responsibility and the service area of the branch and services provided.
