MRSK Tsentra : Belgorodenergo provides connection to the grid of the housing complex "New Life"

IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division takes part in the regional project to provide young professionals and their families with apartments 'New Life'. Under the grid connection agreement the power company will supply electricity to the first stage of the micro-district erected in the southwestern part of the regional centre. The first tenants are planned to be move in already next year.

The maximum capacity of the first stage of the housing complex will be 1.4 MW. To connect houses to power grids, the branch will construct a total of over 17 kilometres of 10-0.4 kV cable lines, install two new 10/0.4 kV modular package transformer substations with a total capacity of 3,260 kVA and a distribution point of 10 kV equipped with modern dispatching and process control equipment.

The installation of the power supply circuit will be carried out using the latest Russian equipment and materials. To ensure the required level of reliability, it is planned to partition all the links of the power distribution system so that an unplanned power outage in one of the nodes does not affect the power supply of the complex as a whole.

The project 'New Life' is implemented on the initiative and with the support of the regional government and involves the construction of small apartments with the option of buying housing in installments. At the first stage, nine houses will be commissioned.

This year, Belgorodenergo has already connected more than 30 multi-storey residential buildings to the power grid, some of which are built under housing construction programs for orphans and children left without parental care, and resettlement of citizens from the emergency fund. The largest grid connection facilities in the housing sector were the 'Paris' complex with its connected capacity of 1.3 MW and the nine-storey residential building 'Imperial' with its capacity of 0.88 kW.
